We are Rick, Leah, and Elizabeth. We are teacher candidates at Brock University studying to work with Primary/Junior students in Ontario.

Create an APP-etite for reading was developed during a literacy inquiry project in one of our second year courses. We want to know what some of the best reading apps are and why we should use them in a classroom.

The question driving our research is: 

Why use apps in the classroom, and should they be for individuals or for the class?

We will also be looking at specific apps and providing some reviews.

Follow us as we learn about technology and how it can be used to help students develop their reading and provide them with all the support that they need.
